Absolutely! We have an extensive, nationwide network of registered therapists. All Connect Psych therapists have been hand selected, interviewed and trained to use our system. We do not use interns or therapists who are not fully licensed and still under supervision.

Connect Psych therapists have additional training in specific approaches to therapy which include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Positive Psychology, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and more.

In addition, we have a Board of Advisors who include prominent professionals that are experts in the healthcare space and help ensure that our service is effective and current.

We understand and appreciate your desire for removal of your personal information. We can always close your account so that it can no longer be logged into by anyone, but please be aware that the chat dialogues themselves cannot be deleted because the therapists are required by Federal Law to keep records on file for a specific period of time.

You can use any computer capable of running a modern web browser, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. We recommend ensuring you have access to an appropriate internet connection to guarantee consistent call quality.

Appointments are generally available within 24-48 hours from registering.  Should you need something more urgent please call us on 1300 146 386 and we will do our best to find a practitioner with availability.

We are a digital 1st business which means primarily we offer counselling and psychology sessions via  ‘e-counselling’ – an online meeting with your chosen Practitioner.  In certain circumstances, we are able to offer physical, in-person face-to-face appointments, however these are arranged on a case by case basis.

Our online appointments are available 6 am – 11 pm/ 7 days a week.

All providers interested in joining the Connect Psych community must complete the application process,  The process involves completing a series of required forms, including the submission of your full professional indemnity insurance and full membership of your relevant professional body. Our team verifies the submission of key data through primary and secondary sources. If all information is verified, our credentialing team then reviews the full application and verification information to make a decision.

Yes.  Although we are an e-counselling service our continuity of care is no different to working in a face-to-face environment.
